Tasmania attracts a higher proportion of international holiday visitors compared to other states, with key international markets including the USA, UK, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, and Germany.

The profiles prepared by Tourism Tasmania offer valuable insights into each market including consumer trends, travel drivers, interests, preferences and behaviours.

Insights are drawn from a diverse range of sources including Tourism Research Australia's International Visitor Survey, the Tasmanian Visitor Survey, Tourism Australia's Consumer Demand Project, and Future of Demand reports, and compiled into easy to read profiles.

International visitation and spend figures are available in the latest visitor snapshot.
