About the app

The Discover Tasmania app enhances the on-ground experience of visitors in Tasmania by helping them discover things to do, events and services relevant to their location and interests.

The app enables users to build an itinerary filled with events, accommodation, activities, places to see, and great things to eat and drink. It also provides real-time updates, informing visitors of available experiences and tips, relevant to their location.

Two phone screens show the Discover Tasmania app display. The upper-left screen shows a series of insider tips and road trips, with photos of Tasmanian destinations and itinerary headlines. The lower-right phone displays Devonport accommodation and food and drink listings, next to photos of these businesses and a button asking to "Add to trip". Behind these two phones as the background image is a man standing on a rock in the golden sunlight, high above the water.
Two phone screens are displayed in front of a background image of golden bushland and hillsides with a grey sky. The phone screen on the left displays a Discover Tasmania app notification that reads: "Salamanca Market: Food, drink, arts, crafts and buskers - every Saturday morning since 1972." The right-hand phone screen displays the Salamanca Market business listing on the Discover Tasmania app, showing a photo of the market followed by a description of the event. At the top underneath the "Salamanca Market" heading, there's a love-heart button, an "Add to trip" button and a link-share button.
