Tourism Tasmania brings the Tasmanian spirit to life through content that demonstrates unique island experiences and offerings, encouraging visitation to the state. Our content focuses on the below six areas which showcase the richness of the Tasmanian experience.

Wild nature
Showcasing the diversity, wildness and unique beauty of Tasmania’s landscapes and seascapes: wilderness, wildlife, national parks, conservation areas, reserves, regenerative tourism and the Southern Ocean.
Food and drink 
Heroing our unique, artisanal, world-class food and drink: where to eat and drink, meet the makers/producers, immersive tasting experiences, agritourism and innovative/traditional methods.
Experiences
Showcasing the diversity, richness and uniqueness of experiences in Tasmania: road trips, outdoor adventures (walking, mountain biking, fly fishing, golf), accommodation, wellness and passive/active experiences.  
History and heritage
Exploring how the island’s unique heritage informs the present and future, reflecting Tasmanian Aboriginal history, colonial history and industrial heritage.
Culture and creativity
Experiencing contemporary Tasmanian Aboriginal culture and reminding people of the joys of non-conformity through creativity: events and festivals, avant-garde arts and design, sustainability, patronage and community.
